The Sacred Land of Naimisharanyam

Naimisharanyam is a place of immense importance in Hindu belief, considered the very first pilgrimage site on Earth. Its holiness comes from a divine event where Lord Vishnu's Sudarshana Chakra is said to have landed here, creating the sacred pond known as Chakra Tirtha. This act immediately sanctified the land, marking it as a special place for worship and spiritual practice. Furthermore, this sacred forest is famous as the place where knowledge was given to the world. It was here that the great Suta Mahamuni teached all the Puranas—the epic stories and teachings of Hinduism—to an assembly of 88,000 sages. This was done for the welfare of all humanity. With immense devotion, we share that Shri Rameshwaram Dham Aashram is being constructed in the holy land of Naimisharanya. Our vision is to create a true sanctuary for all who journey here. This sacred project includes the construction of a Shri Satya-Narayan Swamy & Shri Radhakrishna Temple, a Satsang Bhawan for spiritual gatherings, a Goshala to care for holy cows, and 25 comfortable rooms. Our ultimate aim is to offer free, pure food (prasadam) and serene accommodation to all visiting devotees.

We believe that by working together, we can make this Aashram a cherished haven for generations to come. We humbly invite you to cooperate in this sacred work and become a part of this legacy.
